Golan Heights

Here is photo from my wonderful journey to the Golan Heights. I was able to see the land controlled by Israel ever since 1967, it was truly remarkable to see the area that is talked about so much in history books and in the news. The Golan Heights is a beautiful, fertile agricultural area with many vineyards. The snowcapped peak in the back left of the photo is Mount Hermon, which is shared by Syria, Lebanon, and Israel.
